Description
ZINCONOL is a high-performance polymer reinforced ZOE (Zinc Oxide Eugenol) cement used as an intermediate restorative material (IRM) in dentistry. The addition of polymer reinforcing agents significantly improves mechanical strength, durability, and resistance to abrasion.
It is ideal for temporary restorations, cavity lining, and as a base under non-resin restorations. The material provides excellent sealing of the coronal portion during endodontic procedures and ensures long-lasting temporary protection.
ZINCONOL features low film thickness, making it easy to handle and ensuring precise adaptation. Its superior compressive and tensile strength make it comparable to zinc phosphate cement while maintaining the soothing properties of eugenol.
