GC Gold Label 9 is a high-strength posterior restorative glass ionomer cement formulated with strontium-based glass. Its chemical adhesion to tooth structure allows minimal cavity preparation without requiring etching or bonding agents. The material offers good radiopacity, fluoride release and a thermal expansion similar to tooth structure, helping support a reliable marginal seal.
Its high compressive and flexural strength makes it suitable for selected posterior restorative applications, while its convenient handling and relatively fast finishing time make it practical for routine clinical use.
