Description
DPI Zircocem is an advanced zirconia reinforced glass ionomer cement that combines the benefits of conventional GIC with enhanced strength and durability. The addition of nano-sized zirconia fillers improves mechanical properties, making it suitable for stress-bearing restorations.
This cement provides extended working time (up to 2 minutes), allowing clinicians sufficient time for placement and contouring. Its high radiopacity ensures easy post-operative evaluation, while fluoride release supports long-term tooth protection.
The material is self-adhesive, bonds chemically to enamel and dentin, and exhibits a tooth-like coefficient of thermal expansion, reducing marginal gaps and improving longevity.
