Description
AMMDENT Prep Canal is an endodontic root canal preparation gel formulated with 15% EDTA and 10% carbamide peroxide in a water-soluble gel base. It is designed to assist dental professionals during the cleaning and shaping stages of root canal treatment.
The EDTA component provides chelating action that helps address calcium salts and calcified areas within the canal, supporting more efficient mechanical preparation. The gel also provides lubrication to facilitate the movement of endodontic instruments through the canal.
Carbamide peroxide contributes to an effervescent cleansing action when used in conjunction with sodium hypochlorite, helping to lift and remove pulp tissue, shavings and other debris. The formulation can also support the cleaning of the pulp chamber and identification of canal orifices.
AMMDENT Prep Canal is supplied in a convenient 2 × 3.5 g tube pack with applicator tips, making it suitable for controlled clinical application by dental professionals.
